Advert for cool

Sexiest briefs

These are the sexiest briefs ever, its official from the House of Mark. I got some for Lou last year from the states and now you can get them direct to europe from American apparel store (linked from picture).

Apparently, I read in the Times whilst we were away, the bottom has fallen out of the thong market, tee hee, and about time too. Hopefully I'll never again have to see another one peeping over the top of somebodys blobby arse as I walk around town.

I believe I can fly

No stabilisers

Is there no more seminal, life-affirming experience than learning to ride your bike? Feeling the power and speed available from your own body and learning to fly. You can go very fast straight away, although stopping is more of a challenge.

What a delight for Anna and for us too. I don't think it would have happened had we not been at Le Foret and the freedom they had to ride around. After watching her riding with her stabilisers I just felt she was ready, like a word of knowledge, and we took them off.

Within the day she was riding unaided. She is so determined. One look at Lydia, another slightly older girl at the site on her bike and you could visibly see her steel herself to the task in hand - if she can do it... "OK DAD - let go NOW, i'm alright".

GPRS in France

Sorry for the dull content - its more for the benefit of googlers as I could find nothing useful before I went.

Some good news, some bad news.

Good news - coverage and reception is good unless you're in a forest of course haha.
Bad news - uh we were in a forest.

If you buy an SFR sim card like I did - which is no joke to negotiate in pigeon french - you will be disappointed because if its pay as you go it will not allow you to use the phone as a modem, this is only available on contract. I only found out after I tried and then rung up technical support. Aaaagggghhh. You do get wap access though so I was able to get on the bbc which is fantastic and google which automagically changes the results into wml - but the amount of paging you continually have to do to get to the content on normal webpages is a real ballsache.

Oh before I forget - I could try and use my uk vodafone sim, but it cost a load - £8 a meg on sfr and if you had to switch over to orange £15 a meg. Even with images turned off it gets really expensive.

Safe and sound

Radio silence is finally broken. We've had a fantastic time with the caravan and nobody got killed or went mad in the process.

Needless to say being at home is pretty fockin depressing - we love the caravan and hate this house. Holiday blues? Something a bit more fundamenthol we think, but we'll have to wait and see.

I'll post more stuff about the holiday as I get a chance.
