Don't forget the "don't forget" list
I was interested to read Keith Jones's problems with forgetting to re-pack his caravan after laying it up for the winter (Forum, November). We got around this problem by creating a list of all the essential items needed. These lists are then photocopied and used each time we use the van. Each item is highlighted as it is checked ensuring nothing is forgotten. It works!

Does a typical end of caravaning list go something like...
1. Plan route to include lots of hills to maximise capacity for slow driving speed.
2. Wait for busiest time of day, to optimize annoyance to other drivers.
3. Say goodbye to chavs
4. Drive away from Skegness
I don't get it.
I don't get it still!
