ipodphoto - missing accessory

Surely what the ipodphoto needs is a simple usb connector from digital camera to ipod, without going through a pc. Something around a $30 price point.

I know there is that belkin thing, but really is there any need for that bulk? I don't want to take my memory card out to upload to ipod (especially as my camera is held together with elastic bands).

It does not sound complicated to me. The only issue would be if apple would support the syncronisation of the photos both ways from the ipod.
